Here you see the making of 1 original Akaija (used by the casting company for making a mould) by casting a silver rod first, pulling a wire from this, bend the wire, weld parts together and finally polishing the design. This time-consuming procedure is how I started making Akaija's, but for special Akaija's (like silver-gold combinations) I still do it this way.
